Tamtron Internet Engine (TIE) is a stable, efficient and scalable server for mobile data transfer between customer terminals and the customer's own system. 

A customer terminal can be, for example, a Tamtron Pro+ 300i wheel loader scale or a Tamtron TB GSM/GPS tracking device. 

The transferred data can include SMS, TCP/IP data or UDP/IP data. The contents of the data may consist of weighing or location data from the terminal device to the TIE. Via TIE it is also possible to transfer to the terminal e.g. order data, to serve as the basis for weighing. 

The customer's system can be connected to the TIE's XML-based API, from which the customer's system can request weighing or location data. It is also possible to transfer data, e.g. orders, via the XML based API to the terminal. 

Tamtron's Internet Engine also offers several web browser based services to the customer, such as WNexus weighing report and SecTrack tracking service. The full service range can be found under the Services menu.
