Lone worker protection
RoadTrack is used as lone worker tracking system in England. Each worker has a GSM/GPS phone that can be used for sending help requests and location information to the RoadTrack map application, by pressing a panic button. A sound alarm notifies the supervisor immediately as soon as the message arrives and help can be sent with no delay.
Transportation company
Cargo companies use Roadtrack for tracking their fleet in the GSM coverage area. The devices that are installed on the vehicles are based on GPS/SGM technology and position information is transferred via text message. As a rule the devices are hidden in vehicle structures.
Operator’s positioning service
A teleoperator uses our Nexus location server for processing and managing its customers’ needs related to positioning. The devices that need to be tracked are both normal mobile phones and tracking terminals with a GPS receiver. Location information is transmitted in the network via text messages and GPRS. A number of applications have been added to the open interface of Nexus, such as SecTrack, MMSLocator and TextLocator.
